We arrived Batumi, Georgia at noon. There I met with my senior colleague. He is from Bangladesh. We went inside the terminal and stood in the queue for immigration. But soon some immigration officers came and we were out of the queue. They took us aside and asked about our passport and the documentations.
This reminded me of the movie "My Name is Khan" starring Shah Rukh Khan and US Immigration department. Well they checked our documents only and not us.
They were busy checking, while in the mean time our agent came to pick us up. We breathed a great sigh of relief as soon as we saw him. Since he was a localite, he could explain things better to them.
It took quite a while for the processing and in the end, we were issued Georgian Visa.
We took our luggage and headed straight towards the car.
Our joining was from Poti. Its a good long drive of almost 2 hrs from Batumi.
In our way, we stopped by a local Police Station for further verification before arriving the sea port.
